The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) Program is designed to provide entrepreneurial development services such as business training, counseling, and resource partner referrals to transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard, Reserve, and military spouses interested in starting or growing a small business.
At the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, we are dedicated to empowering Veterans and their families to take control of their entrepreneurial futures. Whether you are an active military (this includes National Guard and Reserve), transitioning service member (TAP) or a Veteran looking to start a business, we provide the tools, resources, and short-term and long-term support you need to be successful.
Our comprehensive services include assistance with business for veterans, guidance on securing access to capital, and support through SBA (Small Business Administration)

If your commercial financing application has been denied, our experts are here to evaluate your case. At VBOC we provide the necessary consultation to help you request a reconsideration or connect you with with Credit Elsewhere, an alternative Access to Capital for your business.
We pair you with a mentor which in some cases is also a veteran or have military experience. Your mentor will guide you through the business development process, sharing insights and experiences that can help you succeed.
